This week was a great experience working with our US based colleagues in the Dorliton NYC head office. Our digital agency Slytrunk travelled over from San Diego and met us for a 3 day digital workshop where we collaborated on planning for 2023 season in addition to brainstorming for all other future Williams Racing digital products and prospects. There is something to be said for sitting together in a room and throwing ideas down on paper opposed to virtually! During our short time there we also managed to fit in some site seeing while taking mindfulness walks and ideas sharing. We even managed to stick a few 12k central park runs in. Looking forward to where we take things going forward.

Today we have lost a true legend!Frank is one of the coolest people you could ever wish to know.Frank you are a true inspiration to us all, a funny guy full of wit and humour, a down to earth hard-working man that would not let anything stand in his way, an all-round great guy and top bloke! Everyone at Williams will forever look up to you and hold a special place for you in their hearts. Thank you for everything! We love you and miss you dearly. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your beautiful family. Rest in peace boss xx

Over the last year I have been training for my first Ironman triathlon and today I successfully completed it! The Ironman 140.6 I took part in was held in Vichy France. The distances for each discipline were as follows: Swim 3.8km (2.3mile)Bike 180km (112miles)Run 42.2km (26miles)   We had a 6am start and had to swim the 3.8km loop in Lac D’Allier. The Bike course was a new course for 2019 and had a new revised route which had the element of hill climbing of which involved a total of 6000+ ft of climbing over the 112mile route. The route was made up of 3 loops of which were two thirds climbing and one third broken decent (mixed up and downhill) which made for a really challenging and intense bike including hill gradients around 8-10% The challenge was exaggerated further with the weather conditions and temperatures of 35c + which made for a really strict fuelling and hydration

For the celebrations, the team ran a selection of events including the running of their heritage cars at the Grand Prix as well as a 40-year themed Martini terrazza at the Williams motor-home.  To my surprise and to the team’s surprise Silverstone chose to celebrate the occasion by printing a huge, roughly 50 meter-wide, version of the 40-year Williams logo I designed on the Becketts corner of the race track. Every time I see this logo I feel extremely proud that my design is being used to symbolise and celebrate the teams amazing history. It’s also amazing that the design is being widely enjoyed and celebrated as a team symbol with it being reproduced on key signage and merchandise. The fans have also given lots of positive feedback on the design at our events and are buying into the team merchandise showcasing the logo. click here to read more about the logo

Last Friday Williams and Sky Sports F1 reunited Damon Hill with his 1996 world championship winning Williams FW18 car for a filming day at the legendary Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit in Northamptonshire.  I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to take part in the event and worked closely with the Sky Sports and Williams Heritage teams, assisting with coordination of film crews at the same time as exploiting my acting skills as a background extra. Sky will be featuring the event on their program in the near future. #WilliamsMartiniRacing
