Supersonic Design

A few weeks ago I came across a painting by an unknown artist of which illustrated a scene from the american Nevada desert.

to the right of the horizon in the painting was the silhouette of a formation of aircraft, one of which was extremely distinctive to me. The  aircraft was the super sonic american nuclear ready bomber XB-70 Valkyrie.

Being a secret aviation enthusiast and lover of all things technical and contemporary, the XB-70 in my opinion is one of the worlds prettiest aircraft, boasting futuristic spacecraft like angles with equally impressive technical statistic.
