Las Vegas Special Livery 2023

Livery design and race team application

To celebrate the Las Vegas Prix for 2023 season we were tasked to design a limited-edition celebration livery to promote the teams first Las Vegas Grand Prix in over 30 years!
The inspiration behind the design was taken from the retro lights of Vegas and the “Light Graveyard” (Neon Museum) in Nevada.

During the design process, we explored many different options including contemporary graphical applications based around Mad-Max film theme, Vegas Casino, Playing cards and Gambling.

In the end we decided to run with the Neon Light concept and partner up with our friend and illustrator Kevin Paige to support the project. We briefed Kevin to design and supply a set of individual light inspired illustrations including Williams word marks, Stars, Cactus lights and Vegas neon lights, from there I took the folder of individual illustrations and designed it into a livery.

This design was extremely bold and emotive, popping out loud and proud under the bright light of Vegas”.
