SURGE x Williams Racing livery revealed
This was an awesome opportunity and an exciting project to work on, going into Miami for the first time with F1 was an experience I will always treasure.
For this project I worked closely with SURGE and creative directed the application of SURGE’s graffiti artwork onto the car as well as across all Williams Racing assets on and off track including digital assets.
For the livery application it was key for me to make sure this design looked and worked as a true race livery, including all the key branding positions as well as elements of the FW44 livery and race car paint lines.
The livery was applied to the Williams Racing FW41 show car! and the design draws upon SURGE’s passion for cartoon illustrations and vibrant colours, this truly is a Formula One car like you’ve never seen before. The venue for Sunday’s Grand Prix, Hard Rock Stadium, features on the design, as does an iconic Floridian orange plus one of its most notable residents, the American Flamingo.
